Cold River Vodka

Sarah Muir, Natural Food Network, New Products Editor

Maine’s Cold River Classic and Blueberry Vodkas have recently become available in Virginia, Tennessee, and Georgia and have re-launched in Florida with Republic National Distributing Company; this makes 19 states that have picked up the vodka, as well as locations in western Canada and London. Expansion into several additional states is also underway, including Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Montana, Utah and New Mexico.

Crafted by Maine Distilleries, the vodka is made using water from Maine’s Cold River, fresh Maine potatoes, and is batch-distilled in a custom-made copper potstill. Cold River Blueberry Flavored Vodka – the newest addition to the company’s product line – features Maine potatoes and wild Maine blueberries.

Cold River Vodka’s Classic Vodka earned a Double Gold Medal at the 2008 World Spirits Competition held in San Francisco, and also the sought-after five-star “Highest Recommendation” rating from Spirit Journal. Contact: Bob Harkins, Director of Sales and Marketing, at 207-865-4828.
