Mountain High Switches to Foil Lids

By Sarah Muir, Natural Food Network New Products Editor

In a conscious effort to care for the environment Mountain High has replaced the plastic lids on its Classic Lowfat flavors line with a coated foil lid. Foil lids are durable and food safe and will eliminate 11 tons of plastic waste each year.

The switch also requires fewer tons of raw materials to produce plastic lids because the lids are lighter and compact, it takes less gas to ship them. Best of all, you can recycle our new foil lids. Mountain High premium-quality yoghurt uses only all natural ingredients, including rbST-free milk. Its Vanilla and fruit varieties are sweetened only with crystalline fructose, a low-glycemic natural sweetener. Its fruit flavors are derived from premium fresh fruits. All Mountain High products are also a rich source of live, active, and probiotic cultures such as L. acidophilus, B. bifidus, and L. casei. Every serving of Mountain High contains billions of these highly beneficial cultures.
